Hello!

I'm Alysha. I like to sew, write, sing loudly and drink peppermint tea.  And hot chocolate.  I have a wonderful husband and two adorable children. We moved into our new place five months ago. Still renting, but the first place we've lived with a backyard and lots of great natural light! Between school and work we haven't had much time to make our little duplex a home yet, but two months ago, I finished my last semester of college! Since becoming a stay-at-home mom, I've had a lot more  free time on my hands.  (As much as you can have as a mom, anyway.)  With so much creativity floating around out there (thank you, Pinterest/Bloggerland) I've been doing my own bit of creating in my corner of the world and I love it!  I also have a handsome husband who loves to work with his hands and just bought a new set of power tools at the beginning of this summer, so we're itching to start on some bigger projects as well.  Between that and our season passes to the local water park, it promises to be a fun and full summer!
